Special Events with Alice
Throughout the season Alice is involved in and available to charter for all sorts of special events. These are all at a slightly premium rate but, until we know exactly what you want to do and how many of you will be on board it, is difficult to give an exact price. Check later as more events will be added throughout the season!
Rib Adventures
As a member of the 4 Charter family www.4charter.co.uk we have a full range of RIB adventures on offer - just look at the rest of this site and you will see all the things you could enjoy. These thrills can be part of any days you book on Alice, we have a hot water deck shower for when you come back on board Alice. The combination of Barge and RIB is an excellent one, the speed of the RIB contrasts so well with the sedate yet very powerful sailing experienced on Alice.
British Classic Yacht Club. Cowes Regatta 2010
Saturday 17th – Saturday 24th July

The ninth year of the premier classic event. There will be some of the most spectacular boats participating. You can enjoy sailing whilst watching the racing, explore Cowes and the Isle of Wight – participate in the classic yacht ambience and all from perhaps one of the best looking sailing boats that will be there. Just call and you can discuss how you would like to participate.
Cowes week Fireworks
Friday 6th August
Price: ONLY £64
Join Alice at 1000 at Gun wharf. Experience a great days sailing watching the Cowes week competitors. In the evening Alice will anchor in a prime position to watch the fireworks, whilst doing so you will enjoy an excellent buffet supper. After this you can take a trip ashore on one of the many ferries returning when the mood takes. Sleep the night in your specially reserved bunk. Awake on Saturday to breakfast and a leisurely trip back to Portsmouth.
Cowes week:
Saturday 31st July till Saturday 7th August 2010
If last year is anything to do by there will be 8,500 competitors ranging from Olympic and world class professionals to weekend sailors. In excess of 100,000 spectators come to watch the sailing, enjoy the parties and live entertainment.
You can book the week or just a day for this fantastic event. We will moor in Cowes roads – all the racing can be seen as the yachts sail right past us. We have our own rib for transporting you to and from the shore. There are so many options: just call us and we can arrange just a day or the whole of Cowes week.
Bank Holiday
Saturday 28th to Monday 30th August 2010
The sea will be delightfully warm and it will be a really good fun 3 day weekend – book now.
Southampton Boat Show
Friday 10th till Sunday 19th September 2010.
Can you think of a better way of visiting the show – join Alice for a cruise to the show – moor overnight and sail back to Gun Wharf via any of the Solent harbours you feel like visiting.
