Hamble

4charter offer Ribs for skippered and bareboat charter from Hamble harbour.

Recognised as the home of British Yachting, the river Hamble has a large number of moorings spread across several Marinas, boatyards and at the Harbour Authorities pontoon. The various mooring options all welcome yachts and water craft. The harbour is sheltered by the Isle of Wight and therefore is an excellent platform to explore the Solent. The area includes three sites of Special Scientific Interest, a Nature Reserve Country Park and a 3km public right of way.

Many leisure activities are available including beautiful walks along the Hamble Valley, playing in the 800 acres of country parks, exploring the ruins of Netley Abbey or crabbing at Hamble quay.

Within the Hamble Valley there are plenty of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms where good food and drink is on the menu. Whether you want to indulge in homemade fresh food, speciality dishes or perhaps take advantage of the wide open spaces available for a picnic or to hire a barbeque at one of the country parks, the Hamble Valley is sure to whet your appetite. There is also a food and drink festival which usually takes place in the month of July.
